On July 26, 2016, Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS) announced that it will be supplying its Promotional Kiosk and mobile business-to-business SG Universe solutions to Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino (“Chukchansi”). Chukchansi is owned and operated by the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians, a federally-recognized tribe of indigenous people in California, and is located in Coarsegold, a small community between Fresno and Yosemite National Park.
Announcing the deal, Deann Kamalani, director of marketing at Chukchansi, declared:

The Promotional Kiosk, which has a similar look to an ATM, is a self-service device that handles a variety of tasks normally handled by casino staff, such as opening new accounts, checking points and comp balances, enrolling for promotions and redeeming comps. The Promotional Kiosk improves operating efficiency by reducing bottlenecks and long queues at the players’ club. It also reduces marketing costs, since information on players is submitted by the players themselves without the medium of a casino operative.
SG Universe is a suite of products that includes Play4Fun Network™, which uses elements of social media; VenueBet™, for accessing core casino services; and Mobile Concierge™, for access to ancillary ones such as booking hotel rooms.
