(NASDAQ:CMTL) recently announced that it will be supplying the U.S. Army with Secret Internet Protocol Router and Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Access Point (SNAP) Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite systems. The announcement came after its Government Solutions unit received $7.6 million in funding.

This supply is being funded by the U.S. Army Project Manager for the Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (PM WIN-T) Commercial Satellite Terminal Program via the Army’s GTACS contract vehicle. As it stands, the company has received nearly $50 million of funding orders compared to the $91 million contract ceiling.
