Coinvention 2019 Cultivates Collaboration in Crypto Community

With Coinvention 2019 only two months away, the buzz in the crypto community is climbing to a crescendo. The event promises to be more than just a forum where the latest developments in blockchain are aired. The gathering’s position as a platform for networking and generating use cases for the technology is firmly established. Tributes to its success in promoting debate and cultivating collaboration in the blockchain space poured in after last year’s convention, so it is with an air of expectation that blockchain believers and beginners alike welcome this premier event’s return to Philly.

On Friday, September 20, Coinvention 2019 kicks off at Loews Hotel in downtown Philadelphia, the same spot as last year’s successful gathering. Opening day will be devoted to a free hackathon and meetup. The main event follows on Saturday, September 21. The day will unfold with a series of presentations, demonstrations and discussions, culminating with a party in the evening.

Testimonials to Coinvention’s capacity to foster relationships and spark co-invention in the space show just why so many developers, investors and others interested in blockchain are expected to attend.

“This event was by far the biggest cryptocurrency-focused event in Philadelphia,” Andrew Bull, founding partner of Bull Blockchain Law, told Coinvention organizers. “It brought together a great group of forward thinkers, tech entrepreneurs and those immersed within the blockchain industry.” The Philadelphia-based law firm provides blockchain counsel to companies, including those launching security token offerings (STOs), initial exchange offerings (IEOs) and virtual currency activities.

Ycenter CEO Dhairya Pujara agreed. “Coinvention was the first of its kind — a dedicated event to meet and exchange high level learning with key blockchain professionals from around the United States,” he added. “Speakers were great, but more impressive was the networking opportunity to meet some of the best in the business all at one place.” The Ycenter offers programs to help participants launch new business enterprises or social ventures or upgrade their work skills.

Coinvention 2019 will host 32 innovative and diverse speakers slated to discuss a variety of topics, including mass-market blockchain adoption, regulation and innovation. Presentations will be segmented, with three to four keynote addresses followed by Q&A, eight STO/ICO presentations and several panels and spotlight presentations.
