(NASDAQ: MSON), a leading manufacturer and marketer of therapeutic ultrasonic medical devices, announced its entry into a partnership with SonoSpine, LLC, an international neurosurgical practice specializing in ultrasonic spine surgery. Through this agreement, the two companies will look to leverage innovative devices and a revolutionary approach to spine surgery to accelerate the development and application of next generation ultrasonic surgery. Misonix will be granted access to SonoSpine’s clinical facilities in order to gain insight into ultrasonic therapies from the surgeon’s perspective, and the two companies will create a joint clinical database to support Misonix’s ongoing development programs, as well as SonoSpine’s efforts to continue improving standards of patient care.
