Attendees will be assigned to three groups for smaller interactive sessions. The first session will provide preliminary insight into sustainability and compliance principles, as well as how to handle audits. The second will include a guided sustainability audit walk that examines the facility’s use of resources.
A broad evaluation of a facility’s adherence to regulations will be the focus, including compliance with those issued by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The workshop will conclude with a Q&A session involving the entire group.
