Kingman Minerals (TSX.V: KGS) today provided shareholders with part three of its three-part series highlighting the historic gold mining operations and prospects within the Mohave Project. Located in the Music Mountains in Mohave County, Arizona, the Mohave Project is comprised of 20 lode claims that are inclusive of the past producing Rosebud Mine, eight distinct veins and one prominent double vein which extend from the northwest corner to nearly the southeast corner of the claims block. Per the news release, the information provided is historical in nature, but was extracted from the NI 43-101 report by qualified person, Edward Harrington, P.Geo. Among other highlights, the company provided historic sampling results from 1995 programs and the 2005 Kent exploration. The 1995 exploration program was conducted by Kinntaki Resources, which collected 135 surface samples. Noteworthy gold and silver results were indicated near the Rosebud Mine. The 2005 exploration was conducted by Kent Exploration Inc., which obtained access and completed an underground rock sampling program following the recommendations of Ed Harrington. According to Harrington, “All samples returned values anomalous in one or more of gold, silver, lead and zinc and are considered to be significant.”
