Foresight Autonomous Holdings (NASDAQ: FRSX) (TASE: FRSX), an innovator in automotive vision systems, today announced that the European Commission, through the Horizon 2020 framework program, has awarded a funding grant of nearly 20 million Euro for the All Weather Autonomous Real logistics operations and Demonstrations (“AWARD”) consortium to develop and operate safe autonomous heavy-duty vehicles in harsh weather conditions in a variety of different scenarios. As part of the project, Foresight will provide its QuadSight(R) multispectral vision solution, and is expected to receive approximately one million USD. According to the update, the AWARD project will be rolled out in 2021 for a period of three years.
