Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US, Inc. (NYSE American: APUS) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, MindWave Innovations Inc., signed a 12-month software development and technology services agreement with Flash Sports & Media Holdings, Inc. to build and operate FlashChain, a blockchain designed to track digital broadcasting rights, video assets and match ticket inventory. MindWave will deploy a dedicated FlashChain subnet on its MindChain Layer-2 infrastructure, operate validator nodes and develop software connecting Flash streaming and ticketing platforms and gate-scanning hardware to the network.
Under the agreement, MindWave will also develop smart contracts to authenticate digital match tickets, manage digital sports memorabilia and help prevent ticket counterfeiting and unauthorized duplication of media. MindWave will receive Flash Sports & Media Holdings common shares and an allocation equal to 20% of the total supply of FLASH TOKEN, along with an annual maintenance fee equal to 50% of applicable contract consideration. The parties have not publicly disclosed the aggregate dollar value of the agreement.
