M-tron Industries (NYSE American: MPTI) announced a $6.8 million follow-on order from a U.S. Department of Defense contractor supporting multiple counter-unmanned aircraft system (“C-UAS”) radar programs. The order includes several products, including high-performance oven-controlled crystal oscillators, with work scheduled to be performed in Orlando, Florida, through 2027.
The company said the radar program is gaining traction across U.S. defense procurement channels and federal civilian agencies and is expected to remain in production beyond 2030. Mtron noted the award reflects continued demand for its precision RF components used in defense and aerospace applications, including radar, electronic warfare, communications, drones, autonomous vehicles, guided munitions and space platforms.
