Gopher Protocol, Inc. (GOPH) Mobile Technologies Ushering in New Wave of Tracking Capabilities

Have you ever misplaced something invaluable? Something sentimental? At some point or another, we all face the frustration of losing something we cherish. Fortunately, a visionary tech partnership has a solution.

California-based Gopher Protocol (OTCQB: GOPH) develops real-time, self-learning (heuristic) mobile technologies. The company’s patented Integrated Circuit (IC), GopherInsight technology is part of the brawn behind a mobile app designed to track valuables such as electronics or other objects, loved ones or even pets.

In collaboration with partner Guardian Patch LLC, Gopher has developed Guardian Patch Location Technology, a stick-on tracking device expected to be on the market in 2017. In previous testing, the GopherInsight IC technology and accompanying mobile application software provided range coverage of approximately 30 square miles in areas without tall buildings. The kicker is that the technology works with or without GPS.

Integrated with Gopher’s IC, the Guardian Patch works where conventional services may fail. The patch transmits an identification signal with its geographical location via map and coordinates to mobile tracking software.

Here’s how it works:

Users can download the Patch app, register a patch, and affix the sticky patch on anything of value. The patch acts as a beacon, sending out a signal to anyone who has registered the patch. From here, users can track anything via mobile device or on the designated website, www.guardianpatch.com. The patch can also be used to receive alerts in case of emergency.

Guardian Patch is currently in phase 2 (design) of development, where the collaboration is focused on the detailed design and development of the product before moving to prototype testing, pilot release, and full product launch.

Gopher and Guardian Patch LLC are hosting a live demonstration of their prototype on September 14, 2016, at 1 ET. By downloading the Guardian Patch mobile app, users can watch live demonstrations of the patch in action. Separate from this venture, Gopher also has a social media game called PUZPIX on deck. Once again partnering with Guardian Patch, as well as Alpha EDA LLC, Gopher recently announced the completion of the design and construction of the new game based on the GopherInsight IC technology.

As described in a recent news release, PUZPIX uses “a computerized framework to create a puzzle from images that users upload onto the system’s server. The user creates an account and has the option to store images in the designated ‘FRIENDS’ area and/or in the designated ALL (public) area. Only approved friends will be granted access to the images in the FRIENDS area and all players have access to the ALL area. Upon a user’s request, the system turns an image into a puzzle of at least nine pieces, though more challenging puzzles can be made once the user achieves a higher level of skill.”

Through Alpha, Gopher has initiated development and testing on an advanced version II of PUZPIX. If developed, the new version would include a GPS-based tracking technology. The game’s website, www.puzpix.com, is fully operational, and version I of PUZPIX is currently available on the Apple store and Google Play.

Supporting Gopher in the roll-out of its two technologies is a newly appointed, four-member advisory board consisting of veterans of the technology industry. The advisory board will provide insight on technological issues, including R&D matters, EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software architecture and automation algorithms, as well as providing expertise in the areas of mobile technology, physics and advanced mathematics. Gopher CTO Dr. Danny Rittman will serve as chairman of the advisory board.

Investors interested in up and coming technologies will want to keep an eye on this one. With advanced microchip technology at the core of its system, and the capability of its technology to be installed on any mobile device in the world, Gopher’s technology has the potential to create an internal, private network between mobile devices and provide mobile technology for computing power enhancement, advanced mobile database management/sharing and other additional mobile features.
