Wildflower announced on May 6 that the Provincial Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch has granted approval in principle (“AIP”) to City Cannabis’ planned store location in Comox, meaning that City Cannabis could achieve full licensing in Comox once a final inspection is completed (http://nnw.fm/Cy14F). The downtown Comox location would be the first licensed store to support the entire Comox Valley area, a summer tourism destination overlooking the Canadian Pacific Coast’s Georgia Strait whose permanent population has an average household income of $86,328, according to the announcement.
